The Emery and Claire Yass Library of Archaeology, located in the Institute of Archaeology building, is part of the Library Authority of the Hebrew University.

A total rebuilding and renovation of the library has been completed in 2003, thanks to a generous donation by Australian Friends of the Hebrew University, the late Emery and Claire Yass.

The Archaeology Library holds 35,000 book and journal titles that focus on the material remains of the Ancient Near Eastern cultures from the prehistoric, biblical, classical and until the medieval periods. The library holdings are concentrated in three current collections: The Archaeology collection, the Prehistory collection and the Assyriology collection.
