Printers
The printing room is located on the entrance floor of the library. Additional printers are also available on the 2nd, 4th and 5th floors. It is possible to print directly from the library’s computers and by means of “cloud printing” from laptops and smartphones.
Payment is with credit cards or print cards issued by Sherut Hamafil Ltd.
It is not recommended to use “direct” credit cards or debit cards.

Cloud Printing - Printing from Mobile Devices
Cloud printing (Mobile Print) enables you to send by email, documents to all public printing stations at the Hebrew University from anywhere and from any device: laptop, personal computer, tablet, or smart phone.
The sender will be identified via his/her email address. Files to be printed should be sent to one of the following addresses. All files will be available for printing up to two hours after being sent and will then be deleted automatically.

Photocopy Machines
There is a photocopy room on the entrance floor of the library. There are additional photocopiers on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th floors. Payment is with credit cards or special print cards available in the printing room.
Scanners
Flatbed A4 scanners: located throughout the library.
Flatbed A3 scanner: located in the Media Department.
Surface laser scanner: located in the printing room on the entrance floor.
Documents scanner: located in the printing room on the entrance floor.
Use of scanners requires login with an AD account, which can be created on every public computer. All scanners are available for use by readers during library hours.
Harman Science Library
The library offers readers the use of printers and photocopy machines which require payment, and scanners free of charge.
Printing
There are black and white printer available to students on the 1st floor.
Color printing is available in the Shprinzak Building.
Payment is by credit card.
Regular printing: 15 agorot per page
Duplex printing: 15 agorot for the first side, 13 agorot for the second side
Color printing: 1 ILS per page (no duplex printing available)
Any single printing job is limited to a maximum cost of 25 ILS

Mobile Printing
Mobile printing allows documents to be sent by e-mail to all of the printers from any place and any platform: laptop, desk computer, tablet or smartphone.
The sender will be identified by e-mail address. Files should be sent to one of the e-mail addresses below. Files that are not printed within two hours are deleted from the printer's system.

Scanning
The library has automatic loading scanners which can be found on floors 1 and -1.
All the scanners are available to students whenever the library is open.
Muriel & Philip Berman Medical Library
There is a b/w printer on the entrance floor to the library. You can send the file to one of the mail addresses below or print directly from the computer connected to the printer.

FAQ
How do I print?
On the printer’s screen – select your mail address (or the number you inserted), swipe your credit card, and click on the printer icon.
How do I send a file to the printer?
Use any mail address on any mobile device.
How much for a page?
0.15 NIS for page (0.3 NIS for a double-sided printed page). You may print up to 25 NIS in one session.
How do I pay?
Preferably with a credit card (for debit or digital payment, open an account here).
How to print the same file multiple times?
Mail does not support such options. Use the library’s computer to print. Select student-printer and insert the number of copies.
Are there photocopy machines or scanners in the library?
No.
I need to print in color or very large files.

What to do with the old MAFIL cards?
These can no longer be used in the medical library.

Printing
One black and white printer is located in the library’s photocopying and printing room. Payment is by credit card or print card, which can be bought at the Computer Farm (at the cafeteria building).
Cloud Printing – Printing from Mobile Devices
Cloud printing /mobile printing allows email files to be printed for a fee, on any of the public printers of the Hebrew University.

Printing
There is no public printer in the library.
Printing can be done from library computers directly or by using “cloud printing”.
Printers are available at the Harman Library and the computer center at the Sprinzak Building.
Scanning
A network scanner is available in the library at no charge. The scanner allows sending scans to email and mobile storage.
Photocopying
There is no photocopier in the library.
Archaeology Library
There are no printers nor xerox machines in the libreary.
Several scanners, both stationary and mobile, are available for use at no charge.
